Dragons

East Asian matters have been an example for European porcelain painting for a long time. So as well the red dragon of the Ming dynasty standing for fortune and authority was adopted. This design was exclusively reserved by the Saxon court until 1918. Green, blue and brown dragons have been shared for general use already before. <P>Since the sharing of the red dragon decoration it was cultivated by many porcelain painters in the region of Dresden. This tradition will also be continued by my craftwork firm.  </P>
